ACCUMULATOR is an important component of the compressor and plays the role of storage, gas-liquid separation, filtration, silencer and refrigerant buffering.

It is composed of a cylinder (BODY), an air inlet pipe (INLET PIPE), an air outlet pipe (OUTLET PIPE), a filter (SCREEN) and other parts. Its working principle is as follows:

The liquid reservoir is installed on the air conditioner evaporator and compressor suction pipe. It is a protective component that prevents liquid refrigerant from flowing into the compressor and causing liquid shock.

During the operation of the air conditioning system, there is no guarantee that the refrigerant can be completely vaporized; that is, the refrigerant coming out of the evaporator will enter the liquid reservoir as liquid refrigerant. Since the liquid refrigerant that has not vaporized is heavier than the gas, it will Drop it directly to the bottom of the liquid receiver cylinder, and the vaporized refrigerant will enter the compressor through the outlet of the liquid receiver, thus preventing the compressor from sucking in liquid refrigerant and causing liquid shock.

When the liquid reservoir component is in use, in order to prevent impurities in the pipeline from entering the compressor directly, a filter is installed between the air inlet pipe and the air outlet pipe of the liquid reservoir to prevent impurities from entering the compressor.

During the long-term operation of the compressor, a certain amount of lubricating oil will be discharged with the vaporized refrigerant inside, and will enter the liquid reservoir cylinder through the pipeline. Since the air outlet pipe welded to the bottom of the liquid reservoir cylinder has an "oil return" hole", so the lubricating oil deposited at the bottom of the cylinder passes through the suction force of the compressor, returns to the outlet pipe of the liquid reservoir, and enters the compressor, thereby lubrication and protection for the compressor.
